Bashkiria proposes to provide tax incentives for beer producers

The Ministry of Trade and Services of the Republic of Bashkiria proposed to Kurultai to amend the article of the republic's law "On tax on the property of organizations" and give tax incentives to beer producers from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2023.

In particular, it is proposed to supplement it with a clause exempting producers of beer and beverages based on it from paying taxes on the property of organizations, subject to two conditions: keeping wages at a level not lower than the monthly average in this industry and maintaining the number of employees at the level of at least 90% of the previous tax period.

- Since the last 10 years the beer market has been characterized by a significant tightening of legislative regulation, the creation of favorable conditions for beer producers in the current difficult economic situation will allow not to reduce the volume of receipts from excise taxes and even increase them. The stable operation of the brewing industry will have a positive effect on the activities of related industries (agriculture, production of aluminum, glass, ethylene glycol, terephthalic acid, wholesale and retail trade) and on the development of the republic's economy as a whole, the text of the substantiation of the bill says.

According to preliminary estimates, when the law is adopted, Bashkiria will receive less than 30 million rubles. annually. The bill will be considered at the next parliamentary meeting on November 26.
