In 2019, in Krasnoyarsk Krai, 10% increase in the production of hard coal

In 2019, the production of thermal steam coal at the Sayano-Partizansky open pit increased by 10% (or 100 thousand tons) compared to the results of 2018, Russian Coal, a member of the SAFMAR group, reports. At the end of 2019, 1.1 million tons of coal were mined in the mine, while production in 2018 amounted to 1 million tons.

The Sayano-Partizansky open-pit mine located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory produces coal G and DG coal with a calorific value of 6000–6500 kcal / kg. Shipments of this fuel go to the domestic market and for export. Krasnoyarsk coal is in demand in the energy sector, the cement and glass industries, and metallurgy.

The Sayano-Partizansky open pit was commissioned in 1991. It is developing the reserves of the Sayano-Partizansky coal deposit, the resources of which exceed 1.5 billion tons. Now the company employs about 300 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Russian Coal plans further growth of the mine’s production capacities and creation of new jobs at the enterprise.
