Ulyanovsk region became part of the Composites Without Borders industrial cluster

Ulyanovsk Region has joined the Composites Without Borders industrial cluster. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

The interregional association is aimed at forming in Russia a complete technological chain of production of composite materials, including the production of carbon fiber, fiberglass, basalt fiber, as well as finished products for end users.

Currently, the Vestas plant, which produces composite blades for wind generators, and the AeroComposit-Ulyanovsk enterprise, where they manufacture power structures for aircraft construction, are operating in the Ulyanovsk region. In the coming years, it is planned to create a special composite cluster in the territory of the port special economic zone.
