Glassworks Svet became the first partner of the Ticket to the Future project in Udmurtia

The largest plant for the production of glass containers "Svet" in the city of Mozhga became the first partner of the "Ticket to the Future" project in Udmurtia. The parties signed an agreement on cooperation between the enterprise and the regional operator of the project - the Center for Advanced Vocational Training of Udmurtia.

Joint Stock Company "Svet" is one of the oldest enterprises in the Udmurt Republic, which specializes in the production of glass packaging of complex geometric shapes. Its products are supplied to more than 250 enterprises in Russia, countries of near and far abroad. For a long time, one of its priority areas of activity has also been the early career guidance of schoolchildren. As part of career guidance, the enterprise conducts professional tests, excursions to production sites, as well as to the museum and laboratories of the plant for schoolchildren in the city of Mozhga and the Mozhginsky district.

Thanks to cooperation with the "Ticket to the Future" project, schoolchildren from all cities and regions of the Udmurt Republic will now be able to take part in the career guidance activities of JSC "Svet".

“The team of the project “Ticket to the Future” from Udmurtia has been actively working for several years to attract partners and include the largest enterprises of the republic in participation in its career guidance events. Cooperation with the oldest plant "Svet" will give a new impetus to development in this direction, namely, it will make it possible to acquaint schoolchildren in the region with professions that are relevant and in demand on the labor market. The guys will get acquainted with the work of the enterprise from the inside and communicate with the specialists of the region,” said Maria Nabatchikova, Deputy Director for Development of the Center for Advanced Vocational Training of the UR (TsOPP UR).

At a meeting with Mozhga Mayor Erik Urazov, the director of the TSPP, Ekaterina Yemelyanova, presented projects in the field of career guidance and a plan for further cooperation with enterprises and the city's education department. According to her, the plant is ready to start teaching schoolchildren the first profession in the near future.

As a reminder, “Ticket to the Future” is a project of early vocational guidance for students in grades 6-11, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Education of Russia as part of the federal project “Success of every child” of the national project “Education”, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The first season of Ticket to the Future started in Udmurtia in 2018. During this time, the project activities - career guidance classes, diagnostics and professional tests - have united about 10 thousand schoolchildren of the republic. In the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, about 14 thousand children will be able to get their ticket to the future.
