Resident of the Territory of Advance Development: Yaroslavl Oblast has created comfortable conditions for business

The government of the Yaroslavl region has created comfortable conditions for the business to work and gives impetus to the constant growth and expansion of the market, said Oleg Ostrikov, director of the company for the production of tempered glass, which last year became a resident of the Rostov-based TOSED region.

Earlier it was reported that the Yaroslavl region was among the ten leaders of the National rating of the state of the investment climate in the regions of Russia according to the results of 2019 according to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI). The Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Dmitry Mironov noted that this was made possible thanks to the systematic work within the framework of the regional strategy of socio-economic development "10 points of growth".

According to Ostrikov, the governor's ideas about supporting small and medium-sized businesses worked. He explained that his company has been operating in the glass market for many years. Having become a resident of the territory of Advance Social Development (TOSED) in Rostov, he was able to find a platform for expanding his production without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.

"Last year, we were looking for a rental site for the installation of a quenching furnace, which was not previously available in the Yaroslavl region. There was one megawatt of energy needed, and that was a lot, I went to the investment department of the regional government. There I was transferred to the Corporation created by the regional government development of the Yaroslavl region. They delved into my topic, studied, directed, without them I would have spat and turned around at some point, "said Ostrikov.

According to him, now all the equipment has already been installed on the site. The new tempering furnace makes tempered glass out of plain glass, which is considered safe, since when it falls, it crumbles into small crumbs. The recruitment process is ongoing.

"Now I want to go for export, I have such a goal - to deliver my products to the west - tempered glass, showers, shelves ... The government of the Yaroslavl region very much supports us in this regard, conducts many trainings, is very focused on the subject of export," said Ostrikov .
