Prices of Russian industrial producers are growing

The prices of manufacturers of industrial goods in Russia in September 2020 increased by 0.6%, and compared to September last year, on average, they did not change. This preliminary assessment is provided by the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

During the period from January to September of this year, prices of industrial producers increased by 0.7%, and in comparison with the same period last year, they decreased by 4.6%.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in September in the extraction of minerals, prices for natural diamonds supplied to the domestic market increased by 69.2%, silver ores rose by 32.5%, natural combustible gas - by 18.3%, and blast furnace iron ore agglomerate - by 15.9%, iron ore concentrate - 14.4%, zinc concentrates - 10.9%.

In the manufacturing industries, a significant increase in prices in metallurgy was noted: unprocessed or semi-processed silver became more expensive by 36.2%, services for the production of products made of precious metals - by 13%, alloy steel in ingots and other primary forms and semi-finished products from it - by 11. 5%, unworked nickel - by 10.1%.

In the production of non-metallic mineral products, the prices for roofing and waterproofing materials went up noticeably - by 18.1%, sheet glass - by 8.1%, and glass units - by 8%.

In the production of chemicals and chemical products, there was an increase in prices for xylenes - by 18.8%, ethylene glycol and styrene - by 13.2%, propylene polymers in primary forms - by 10.7%, zinc oxides - by 10.3%. propylene - by 10.2%.

At the same time, a decrease in prices for a number of oil products was recorded. Thus, oil paraffins fell in price by 12.2%, other heavy distillates not included in other groups - by 7.3%, motor gasoline - by 4%, diesel fuel - by 3.8%.
