Minutes of the meeting at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on improving regulation in construction

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia has received information from the RUIE Committee on Technical Regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment.

We publish this information for consideration:

In June of this year. The RSPP Committee discussed the draft report of the Ministry of Construction of Russia to the President of the Russian Federation on improving regulation in construction.

The draft report provided for amendments to the Federal Law "Technical Regulations on the Safety of Buildings and Structures" with the introduction of mandatory building codes in relation to building materials and products.

Taking into account the feedback received on the initiative of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs A.N. Shokhin asked the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation M. Sh.

In accordance with the adopted decision, on July 23, 2020, a meeting on technical regulation in construction was held at the RSPP with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium (headquarters) of the Government Commission for Regional Development in the Russian Federation - First Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation I.E. .Faizullina.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the RSPP Commission on Construction and Housing Policy, NLMK PJSC, Gazprom Neft PJSC, PhosAgro PJSC, NIPIGAZ AO and others.

During the meeting, the proposals of the Ministry of Construction of Russia on amendments to the Federal Law "Technical Regulations on the Safety of Buildings and Structures", as well as problematic issues from member companies of the RUIE on technical regulation in the field of design, expertise and construction were considered.

At the meeting, decisions were made to organize joint work of the RUIE and the Government Commission for Regional Development with the involvement of public organizations to radically change the system of technical regulation in the field of design and construction.
