A Tula company will produce glass containers at the Aktis plant in Novocherkassk

JSC "Glanit" became the only pledge creditor of the bankrupt company.

The production of the Aktis glass container plant in Novocherkassk was transferred to the management of the Tula company Glanit AO. The new tenant has already started work on the equipment, according to Gorod N.

In response to the inquiry, the representatives of Glanit JSC assured that most of the employees of the previous Alex-Trade tenant remained at their workplaces. The new management is working on a contract to repair the furnace and eliminate all production shortcomings.

Aktis came under the control of a Tula company three years after the start of bankruptcy. Galanit became the plant's only mortgage creditor, having become the owner of debts in the amount of over 7 billion rubles.

Glanit is affiliated with Pikalevskaya Soda Group of Companies. Both manufacturers have already gained prominence in the glass container market and are steadily increasing their profits. Previously, they invested in the Tverskoy and Aleksinsky glass factories.

Recall that the Novocherkassk plant "Aktis" is located on the site of the former Soviet enterprise "Novocherkasskneftemash". In the 90s, it was acquired by businessman Vladimir Baziyan; in the 2000s, the enterprise began to increase the volume of produced glass containers. Since 2017 JSC "Firm" Aktis "has been in bankruptcy proceedings. Vladimir Baziyan acted as a guarantor for the Escort loan to Sberbank, but could not pay it off. Later, the businessman tried to achieve the recognition of the surety agreements as invalid. As part of the bankruptcy procedure of the Novocherkassk Firma Aktis JSC, the property of the enterprise was assessed, the cost of which amounted to five billion rubles.

Despite this, the Alex Trade company, which rented the plant, ended 2019 with a profit of 812 million rubles. As a result, the creditors and the management of the enterprise agreed on the desire to work with the newly created company on the basis of leasing production equipment. All debts and capacities of the plant are now under the jurisdiction of Tula JSC Glanit.
