Ladies and gentlemen!

On November 17-18, 2022, the SPC «StekloGaz» (601501, Vladimir region, Gus-Khrustalny, Rudnitskaya str., 6) will host the International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI" - the largest in Russia , CIS and Eastern Europe industry event of the glass industry.

XXII International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies-XXI" is held in a significant year for the world glass industry - "International Year of Glass".

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia has been a member of the International Commission on Glass (ICG) for more than ten years. At the ICG Members' Congress in 2018, for the first time, a proposal was made to declare 2022 the "International Year of Glass".

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia was a member of the organizing committee on this issue. StekloSoyuz made proposals, did a lot of work to make this important event for the global glass industry take place.

The World International Glass Commission, together with the Community of Glass Associations, including the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia and the International Committee of Glass Museums, have applied to the United Nations with a proposal to declare 2022 the International Year of Glass.

The International Year of Glass 2022 was approved at the session of the UN General Assembly on May 17-18, 2021.

We are glad that the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia is involved in organizing this world event!

The International Forum is an important event in the glass market of Russia, CIS countries, Europe and Asia.

The relevance and significance of the Forum for the development of the Russian and world market of glass products is confirmed by the leaders and experts of glass enterprises and consumers.

The international project has retained its importance for many years. Conducting management training helps to strengthen the best traditions of glass production, promote new technologies, best practices in glass production and processing to the Russian market.

Leaders of industry associations of glass products consumers note the importance of the industry event for the development of new production and application technologies. They express confidence that the Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI" will contribute to the development of the domestic glass industry, will increase its competitiveness and investment attractiveness.

Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, emphasized:

-“The Forum brings together the entire glass elite of industrialized countries, all those who invest their creative energy in the continuous improvement of the glass industry; is a unique tool to meet any consumer demand for all sectors of the national economy."

About 200 factories, enterprises and firms take part in the Glass and Modern Technologies – XXI Forum every year.

The participants of the international event will discuss together the problems and results of the industry in modern conditions, receive up-to-date information on modern technologies, and make a decision on the implementation of the plans, including the consolidation of producers and consumers.
