In recent years, panoramic windows have become an integral component of most high-budget residential projects in Moscow. They are installed in 74.6% of premium and luxury complexes, according to Metrium analysts.

Panoramic glazing is becoming an indispensable attribute of high-budget housing in the capital. A similar option is provided in 82.4% of premium and 68.3% of luxury complexes. As a rule, panoramic windows are absent in reconstruction projects and low-rise buildings that were put into operation several years ago.

At the same time, panoramic windows are installed in 100% of modern premium and elite skyscrapers. This glazing format makes it possible to make maximum use of the visual advantages of the complexes and increases their energy efficiency.

“We use high-strength architectural aluminum and translucent structures to glaze the towers of one of the blocks,” emphasizes Dmitry Golev, Optima Development. “At the same time, our company uses a structural method of finishing facades, which allows us to hide fasteners. It is worth noting that all panoramic windows in Prime Park are custom-made by Schüco and have openable sashes with the possibility of micro-ventilation. In addition, they are three-chamber, so they have low thermal conductivity. Therefore, our residents will definitely not have to overpay for heating.”

Using a microprocessor controller, residents will be able to program the execution of the tasks they need, the so-called operating scenarios for any technical devices (smart). The scenarios can be simple - turning on the air conditioner and opening the window when a certain air temperature is reached, or complex, for example, when the TV is activated, the curtains will close and the local lighting will be adjusted.”

Classic white frames in the high-budget segment are inferior in popularity to colored ones. Window manufacturers offer a varied palette that imitates stone, wood, and steel. A correctly selected range of colors serves as decoration for the façade.

“The main advantages of panoramic glazing are excellent insolation of apartments and the opportunity to enjoy magnificent views from the windows,” sums up Ruslan Syrtsov, managing director of the Metrium company. “In addition, during the day, thanks to the abundance of light in the room, the space visually expands. However, panoramic windows are a rather expensive solution. Therefore, they have become widespread, almost universally, only in the premium and elite segments of the new buildings market.”
