Today, October 03, 2022, the Scientific School-Conference with international participation for young scientists “Functional glasses and glassy materials: Synthesis. Structure. Properties".

This industry event is held in accordance with the approved plan for the interaction of production, research institutes and educational institutions by the Association "StekloSoyuz" of Russia together with the Institute of Chemistry of Silicates. I.V. Grebenshchikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICS RAS).

The period of the scientific school-conference is from October 3 to October 7, 2022.

Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia and Irina Kruchinina, Vice-President of "StekloSouz" of Russia, Director of the ICS RAS, were approved as co-chairs of this event.

The conference was opened and a report was made by Viktor Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

Topic of the report: “The state of the glass industry in modern conditions. Development prospects until 2025”.

In his report, Viktor Osipov outlined the current situation in the domestic and world glass industry, analyzed in detail the directions of the Association's activities in the framework of solving acute issues. Viktor Osipov reported on the active interaction of StekloSouz with the Government of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries, departments, regulatory authorities of the Russian Federation as part of the implementation of these tasks and long-term cooperation.
