By May, a new furnace will be launched at the glass container plant in Novoaleksandrovsk

The construction of a new furnace at the glass container plant in Novoaleksandrovsk will triple production volumes. Now the company produces about 15 million units of glass containers per year, the Ministry of Industry of the Stavropol Territory reported.

Glass containers in all segments of colorless glass are produced by a company in Novoaleksandrovsk. The new management - representatives of one of the large domestic companies - is being helped to restore work and expand production volumes by state support, the provision of which is supervised by specialists from the regional Ministry of Industry.

Now the company has a production line, a paint shop, and a warehouse. In 2023 alone, the plant was able to produce about 15 million units of products.

The head of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Communications of Stavropol Ivan Kovalev got acquainted with the production facilities and assortment of the enterprise. The head of the department also briefed the plant’s management on the possibilities of using state support.

“The main part of the plant’s products is supplied to the country’s domestic market. At the same time, the need of enterprises for glass containers is constantly increasing,”

— said Ivan Kovalev.

The construction of a new furnace will allow the company to meet the needs of new customers. After its launch in May this year, production will almost triple.

It was also previously reported that in 2024 another complex of wind power plants will be put into operation in the Trunovsky District. The project is being implemented with the support of the Governor of Stavropol Vladimir Vladimirov.
