In the Stavropol region, a glass processing plant for ₽400 million will be launched by 2025

A potential resident of the eco-industrial park in the Stavropol Territory, Kavminservice, plans to commission a glass processing facility at the end of 2024, the press service of the Russian Environmental Operator (REO) reports.

The company has already started designing the facility. Recall that the plans to create a production facility for the disposal of glass waste by Kavminservis LLC became known in January 2023. Then it was reported that the production capacity would be up to 80,000 tons of first grade cullet per year. The cost of the project is estimated at 400 million rubles, it involves the creation of 35 jobs.

“In the eco-industrial park on the territory of the Stavropol Territory, a glass waste disposal facility with an estimated capacity of up to 80 thousand tons per year will appear. It will increase the volume of waste disposal in the region, including from MSW, and reduce the volume of landfills,” said Denis Butsaev, Director General of the REO.

As RBC Kavkaz reported, in total, six investment projects totaling over 1.2 billion rubles are planned to be implemented on the territory of the eco-industrial park in Nevinnomyssk. Potential residents in addition to "Kavminservis" are the companies "Sevkavretsikl" and "Eco-City".

929.9 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for the construction of the park. In 2022, the region received 104.7 million rubles (all funds will be used for design and survey work), in 2023 the region will receive 313.7 million rubles (including 11.6 million rubles for design and survey work), in 2024 year - 511.6 million rubles.

The neighborhood of Nevinnomyssk was chosen as a site for the construction of the ecopark. According to the concept, the park will consist of a scientific and technical center with an area of 2.8 thousand square meters. meters with offices and an exhibition hall, as well as from production areas where recyclable materials (glass, PET containers and other waste) will be processed into materials demanded by the economy. At least 190 thousand tons of raw materials will be processed here annually.

The infrastructure for the eco-industrial park in Nevinnomyssk is planned to be built as early as 2023. The authorities of the Stavropol Territory expect to launch the facility in 2024.
