Ministry of Construction of Buryatia: prices for building materials increased in the republic

In one month, prices for construction materials in Buryatia rose to 8 percent, the press service of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Belarus reports. The department notes that the rise in price occurred on cement, heat-insulating and roofing materials, lumber, profiled sheets, products made of galvanized steel, as well as internal doors. The ministry associates this with seasonal changes in prices.

According to the Ministry of Construction of Buryatia and the regional Center for Pricing, the cost of cement grew by 6.2% over the month, lumber, PVC windows - by 5%, finishing materials - from 7%, doors - by 8%, thermal insulation and roofing materials, as well as profiled sheets and galvanized steel products - by 1.8%.

During the same period, the cost of bricks decreased, which fell by an average of 2.5% due to seasonal discounts. Mortar - by 10% due to the absence of an anti-frost additive in its composition. The prices for concrete, floor slabs, wall panels, metal structures and electrical equipment remained unchanged, the press service of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Belarus noted.

The department also emphasized that the predicted shortage of foreign-made materials due to the shutdown of factories in China, fortunately, did not affect the pricing policy of local suppliers of similar goods.
