Malovishera Glass Factory will launch production of insulators for power lines

During his visit to the Malovishersky district, the governor of the Novgorod region, Andrei Nikitin, visited the production site of the glass factory.

Malovishersky Glass Factory LLC specializes in melting technical glass and producing products from it. Part of the Polymer-Apparat group of companies. The plant produces cylinders, cylinders, capillaries, tubes for the pharmaceutical, electrical and electronic industries, for optical products and much more. Last year, the plant shipped goods worth more than 300 million rubles.

– The most important task was to launch an assembly line production that would operate 24/7, and around which we would build a personnel policy. We have achieved this. The minimum program has been completed and further process optimization is underway. The salary at the enterprise was increased almost 2.5 times, the average was about 42 thousand rubles. There is room to grow,” noted the general director of the enterprise, Roman Miryanov.

In April, it is planned to launch a production line for glass high-voltage insulators for power lines. The planned capacity of the line is 3.5 million pieces per year. 50 new jobs will be created to service the line. The total investment volume is 0.5 billion rubles.

– We have a huge energy sector in the country and a great need for instrument making. This plant is unique; it has every opportunity for development. It’s a matter of choice, of course, but I believe that those who connect their careers with him at the stage of plant growth, he will be able to quickly prove himself and achieve something - there will be every opportunity for this. There is still a lot to be done here in terms of everyday comfort, but there is a prospect, an opportunity to engage in development. Of course, career guidance is very important,” Andrei Nikitin emphasized.

According to Roman Miryanov, the company pays great attention to personnel policy.

–We improve working conditions. We have agreements with universities; we have students from St. Petersburg doing internships. We have a very knowledge-intensive sector, we need students and it is important to preserve technologies and improve them. In Malaya Vishera we buy apartments and provide them to employees; we have many rented apartments, more than 30. Plus, there are plans to build a workers’ camp: we were promised to allocate an area where we will build housing for permanent employees. Today there are about 200 people working, the staff will grow,” said Roman Miryanov.

The company exports products to Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, Algeria, Bangladesh, Oman, UAE, Peru. Negotiations are underway with Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Malaysia and India.

In 2023, the plant received a regional subsidy to reimburse the costs of industrial enterprises associated with the purchase of new equipment in the amount of 4.9 million rubles.
