WASTE RECYCLING COMPLEX IN SERGIEV POSADO IS READY FOR 70%

The total construction readiness of the RT-Invest waste processing complex in Sergiev Posad is 70%, the press service of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Moscow Region said in a statement.

Commissioning of an object with a capacity of 450 thousand tons of waste per year is planned for the first quarter of 2020.

“The installation of equipment is nearing completion in the waste sorting workshop, where, thanks to automatic separators, all fractions useful for processing will be selected: metal, glass, plastic and paper (up to 20% of the total). Another 30-35% of organic waste will be sent to closed workshops for processing and compost production, ”the report said.

The complex under construction was visited by Yevgeny Khromushin, Vice-Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, Oksana Erokhanova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Sergiev Posad City District, and Sergey Dvoinykh, a deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma.

In Sergiev Posad, sorting lines have been established for Husmann, one of the world leaders in waste processing. At various KPO RT-Invest uses various technical solutions of Husmann. In addition to sorting lines, the complex in Sergiev Posad will operate a mobile crushing plant for the processing of bulky waste (KGO).

The construction of modern KPO and "Energy from Waste" plants is being carried out as part of the Ecology national project, as well as to create an integrated waste management system in the Moscow Region.
