Investment projects for 20 billion rubles will be implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2021

Large-scale projects with a total investment of more than 20 billion rubles, which are accompanied by the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation, are planned to be implemented in the region in 2021. The head of the region, Gleb Nikitin, announced this during his annual report on December 25, 2020.

The Governor stressed that, despite the pandemic, most of the projects supported by the Corporation are being implemented in accordance with the announced plans.

"We provide investors with all the necessary support. Already in 2021, it is planned to commission a number of large investment projects with a total investment of more than 20 billion rubles. They involve the creation of almost 2 thousand new jobs. I am sure that in the near future the numbers will be even more significant. ", - explained Gleb Nikitin.

Next year, projects will be implemented for the construction of a greenhouse complex for year-round growing of vegetable products, two pig-breeding complexes in Ardatovskiy and Sergachskiy districts, a main sorting center.

It is also planned to complete the modernization of the furnace for the production of raw glass for the production of automotive glass at the JSC "AGC Bor Glass Factory".

Summing up the results of 2020, the head of the region recalled the creation of a special economic zone (SEZ) "Kulibin" in Dzerzhinsk. In addition, the Nizhny Novgorod region for the first time entered the TOP-20 of the national rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
