Glass Decor has launched the second phase of the production of glass containers in Mordovia

The Glass Company Razvitie LLC (Ruzayevka, Mordovia, part of the Glass Decor holding) officially opened the second phase of the production of glass containers for the food industry at the site of the former glass factory in Ruzayevka, the press service of the head of Mordovia reports.

The press service recalls that a year ago, Razvitie Glass Company resumed production of glass products on the basis of the Ruzayevsky Glass Plant, which was stopped in 2016. In June last year, the first phase of production was launched with the creation of 250 jobs.

In the fall of 2019, work began on the repair of the second glass melting furnace, which was completed in May of this year. The launch of the second phase of production has created more than 150 jobs.

The director general of the plant, Sergey Ageev, told Interfax-Volga that the current investment in the project amounted to about 300 million rubles, including about 200 million rubles for the repair and launch of the second stage. It is expected that in July it will reach a production capacity of 25 million bottles per month. The annual capacity will be about 300-350 million products.

The head of the company explained that the first and second furnaces are similar in power, however, a more serious repair was carried out on the second furnace, electric heating was launched, so its productivity will be higher than the first. At the same time, the future plans of the company include the modernization of the first furnace.

Currently, the company works with the largest producers of alcoholic beverages in the regions of Russia, and also supplies to Armenia, Georgia, Poland and the Baltic states.

It was previously reported that the glass company Razvitie was included in the register of residents of TOSED Ruzayevka by a decision of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia of May 16, 2019. The company implements an investment project for the production of glass containers for the food industry. The project cost is 433.6 million rubles. The investor has leased the production capacities of the Ruzaevsky Glass Plant, which is in bankruptcy proceedings.

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, Razvitie Glass Company LLC was registered in Ruzayevka (Mordovia) in April 2019, the main activity is the production of hollow glass products. The general director of the LLC is Sergey Ageev, who in 2011-2014 was the general director of CJSC “Ruzaevsky Glass Factory”. 100% of the company belongs to Glass Decor LLC.

Glass Decor LLC was registered in July 1999 in Istra, Moscow Region, Vladimir Arutyunov is the general director and owner of a 49.4% stake. Glass Decor includes two decoration plants and three glassworks.

According to the data of the file cabinet of arbitration cases, in August 2017, the arbitration court introduced a monitoring procedure for ZAO Ruzaevsky Glass Factory, in March 2018 declared the company bankrupt and opened a bankruptcy proceedings for six months. The court has already extended the bankruptcy proceedings several times, once again it was extended until September 15, 2020.
