Dzuzer Vladimir Yakovlevich celebrates 70 years

Dzyuzer Vladimir Yakovlevich, honorary worker of the glass industry of Russia, professor, doctor of technical sciences, head of the Department of Equipment and Automation of Silicate Production, Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin.

Vladimir Yakovlevich is known for his work in the field of mathematical modeling of heat and mass transfer in glass melting furnaces and the design of energy-efficient furnace linings for high-temperature thermal units. The working projects of glass melting furnaces implemented at the plants of Russia, Kazakhstan and Moldova are characterized by the world level of energy efficiency and specific productivity.

The author of more than 210 publications, including monographs, reference books, study guides, 10 inventions and patents.
