DMITROVSKIY ZAVOD STATES FOR GROWTH

Stellar Glass LLC (Dmitrovsky Glass Factory), thanks to a new management team, as well as its customers and suppliers, has achieved significant results since the team came to the plant in May 2019. Production growth was more than 18%: from 108 million to 127 million pieces of glass containers on an annualized basis. In addition, the company has achieved significant indicators in the energy efficiency of production and the organization of glass container production processes.

After a year of work on putting things in order in technology, significantly improving the quality of products, attracting highly qualified specialists and creating an excellent team, preparations were made for the modernization of production.

Starting from June 1, 2020, Stellar Glass is modernizing the first stage with the launch at the beginning of 2021, which will more than double the production of glass containers. In addition, the launch of new facilities will allow for diversification of production and launch of new types of products, including NNPB DG and PB SG.

The new furnace unit will be equipped with three glass-forming machines of different capacities. The key partner of the modernization is the Italian company BDF Industries S.p.A. After the modernization, the plant's capacity will increase to 260-270 million units of glass containers per year, significantly improving financial performance.

The next stage of development will be the cold repair of the existing furnace and the modernization of the equipment for the hot and cold sections in 2021-2022.

Plant plans may be affected by restrictive measures the spread of COVID-19, but the goals of management and plant owners to supply our customers with the required number of high-quality glass products in the required time frame, which means well-coordinated work of the team to prepare and conduct all stages of modernization.
