Belgorod "Ostek" sent more than 50 million rubles to the production of bulletproof glass

In 2019, the production of bullet-proof and safety triplex glass was launched in the Belgorod region on the territory of the Stary Oskol city district. The local Ostek group of companies allocated over 56.5 million rubles to the organization of production with a design capacity of 7.5 thousand square meters per month. As Kommersant Director Vladimir Kozhin explained to Kommersant, before that, Ostek annually "invested in tempered glass." The top manager estimated the company’s market share in the Central Federal District at “about 30%,” and around the country “about 5%.” According to the group’s own data, Ostek has been operating in the Belgorod Region since 2008. The main activity of the Group of Companies is the industrial processing and tempering of flat glass, including for the production of double-glazed windows.

According to Kartoteka.ru, Ostek LLC, the main legal entity of the same group, was registered in Stary Oskol in July 2015 with an authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles. Its director and co-owner is 41% - Mikhail Tulinov (he founded the group as an individual entrepreneur), another 49% are owned by Aleksey Baykov and 10% by Vladimir Kozhin. The revenue of the company in 2018 amounted to 398.9 million rubles. (331.9 million a year earlier), net profit - 846 thousand rubles. (473 thousand rubles).
