Association StekloSouz of Russia. Meeting on the provision of high-quality raw materials for glass factories

On December 4, 2020, a meeting of heads of departments and enterprises on the provision of high-quality raw materials to glass factories was held at the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia.

Valery Shubin, Director of the Development Department, reported on the situation in this matter. In particular, he said that the general condition of the producers of raw materials for the glass industry is in a satisfactory condition.

Pavel Gorshkov, Director of the Department of Glass Containers and Andrey Gorin, Director of the Department of Flat Glass and Industrial Processing, expressed concern about possible problems in connection with the tense state of the Bashkir Soda Company.

The decision was made to instruct the responsible managers of "StekloSoyuz" to work out this issue with the Federal government bodies of Russia. At the same time, study the possibility of importing an additional volume of soda ash to Russia for glass factories in the Russian Federation.

The meeting was attended by Viktor Osipov, President of the StekloSoyuz Association of Russia. He echoed the concerns of plant managers.
