Association «StekloSouz» of Russia continues to work with the International Organization for Standardization ISO TK63 «Glass Containers»

As part of the planned work on the development of technical regulation with the participation of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia under the leadership of Deputy. Director for Standardization of the Department of Glass Containers, Standardization Expert Lyudmila Sergeeva, cooperation with the International Organization for Standardization ISO TK63 "Glass Containers" continues.

The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia addressed to Lyudmila Sergeeva received a letter from the International Organization for Standardization ISO TK63 "Glass Containers", which states that ISO continues to strive to maintain an open and neutral platform for technical experts in order to develop international standards that are recognized around the world as an indispensable driving force for economic and social growth.

The ISO Member in the United States (ANSI) now advises that further participation in international standards development activities involving Russian experts is permitted provided that the process remains open and the shared information is not proprietary.

EU officials agreed with ISO on this position.
