In pursuance of the decision of the 26th annual Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies – XXI," held on December 11, 2025, in Moscow, the Association StekloSouz of Russia (SSR) established the Working Group (WG) "Science and Business." The WG includes experts from the Scientific and Technical Center of the Association StekloSouz of Russia (STC SSR) and focuses on the interaction between science and industry.

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about Siberian Glass LLC (Sibsteklo), a member of the StekloSouz Association of Russia: Siberian Glass LLC has summarized its production results for 2025. According to Anton Mor, General Director of Sibsteklo, 865.4 million pieces of container glass rolled off the assembly lines at glass complexes in 2025, which is 5.1% more than in 2024. Moreover, output in tons over the same period increased by 4.4% – from 220.44 thousand to 230.13 thousand. 781 million units of product were manufactured using lightweight technologies (up 4% compared to the same period last year), and the average product weight was reduced by 0.8% – from 267.8 to 265.9 grams.
