On October 1, 2026, the "StekloSoyuz" Association of Russia (SSR) held a meeting to address the critical situation regarding the parameters for the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme for goods and packaging applicable to 2027. The meeting was chaired by Viktor Ivanovich Osipov, President of the "StekloSoyuz" Association. In his opening remarks, Viktor Ivanovich noted that only three months remained before the new regulations came into force and that any delay would effectively bring factory operations to a halt. Participants were instructed to urgently discuss preliminary calculations in order to prepare an appeal to the Government Staff.
