In pursuance of the decision of the 26th annual Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies – XXI," held on December 11, 2025, in Moscow, the Association StekloSouz of Russia (SSR) established the Working Group (WG) "Science and Business." The WG includes experts from the Scientific and Technical Center of the Association StekloSouz of Russia (STC SSR) and focuses on the interaction between science and industry.

Government Resolution No. 102 of March 3, 2026, published on the National Legal Portal, stipulates that 2,091,184,993 shares of Gomelsteklo OJSC will be transferred free of charge to the State Property Committee. Each share is worth 14 kopecks, bringing the total value to approximately 293 million rubles.
