Dear colleagues, good afternoon! In pursuance of the decision of the 26th annual Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies – XXI," held on December 11, 2025, in Moscow, the Association StekloSouz of Russia (SSR) established the Working Group (WG) "Science and Business." The WG includes experts from the Scientific and Technical Center of the Association StekloSouz of Russia (STC SSR) and focuses on the interaction between science and industry.

On March 24, 2026, the StekloSoyuz Association of Russia held a working meeting dedicated to the preparation and holding of the 27th annual International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI."

A delegation of entrepreneurs from the Vladimir region successfully completed a business mission to Armenia, organized by the Export Support Center and the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Representatives from the 33rd region visited production facilities, including renowned wineries, and identified avenues for cooperation, particularly in related industries. Armenian companies expressed interest in importing glass containers, furniture, and doors from the Vladimir region, which opens up new export opportunities.

On December 11, 2025, a large-scale annual industry meeting – the 26th International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies – 21" – was held at the International Industrial Academy in Moscow. In January-February 2026, Azerbaijan produced 1,615,000 square meters of construction glass, a 5.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

Aluminum translucent structure production is planned for the Mogilev Free Economic Zone (FEZ). The project will be implemented by a new resident of the free economic zone, AS-Product LLC.

In early March, the "World of Glass" exhibition once again became a platform for professional discussions of the industry situation and expectations for the near future. Continuing this discussion, we analyzed the dynamics of sheet glass production, the regional structure of production, and the state of the construction sector. The data obtained show that market development in 2026 will be determined not so much by production volumes as by the continued moderation of demand, primarily from the construction sector.
