700 million rubles will be allocated for the modernization of the glass factory in the Bologovsky district of the Tver region

In recent years, his work has been suspended. Now, with the support of the regional government, the enterprise comes to life. The resumption of production was discussed on October 24 at a meeting of Governor Igor Rudeni with the management of Clean Glass LLC, which acts as an investor modernizing the enterprise. The total investment in the project is 700 million rubles. In two stages, up to 450 new jobs will be created.

- It is important that you choose the Tver region as a platform for investment. The plant you are developing has more than a century of history. I am sure that the project that is being implemented on our territory will give a good socio-economic effect for both the municipality and your company, ”said Igor Rudenya.

At the first stage of modernization, one of the furnaces was completely repaired and reconstructed, the daily capacity of which is planned to increase by 30% and bring up to 135 tons of glass melt.

More than a hundred employees have already been hired. All of them are locals who have been trained. The investor also provided landscaping of the factory territory, upgraded the workshops, built and prepared for the opening of a free canteen for workers. According to the leaders of Pure Glass, the plant has already been provided with sales for the next three to four years.

Investments in the first stage of modernization amounted to about 250 million rubles. At the second stage, in 2020, Clean Glass plans to develop cooperation with the Italian company Revimac Bottero Group (the world's largest manufacturer of equipment for glass production) for the purchase and installation of four modern production lines. This will make it possible to bring the total daily capacity of the plant to 350-360 tons of glass melt and provide additional jobs for more than three hundred residents of the Tver region.

An interdepartmental working group to support the project was created in the Government of the region. The authorities are ready to participate in putting in order the entrances to the enterprise. The organization of bus routes from Bologoe to the enterprise is discussed.

As the head of the region emphasized, the government of the Tver region will continue to provide the necessary assistance. The meeting raised the issue of tax preferences for the enterprise, obtaining soft loans for the reconstruction of the second glass furnace and the creation of two production lines through the Regional Industrial Development Fund. In turn, the management of Clean Glass LLC is ready to participate in the modernization of the school in the village of Berezayka.
