In Saransk, investments in the production of medical glass in the SEZ will amount to 3.2 billion rubles

The launch of the first workshops is planned for 2025.

The Glass Decor group of companies plans to invest more than 3 billion rubles in the construction of a medical glass plant on the territory of the Sistema special economic zone in Mordovia. Deputy Chairman of the Government of Mordovia Batyr Emeev announced this in his Telegram channel.

“In Saransk, on the territory of the special economic zone “Sistema”, a resident of the SEZ - Lispharmsteklo LLC of the Glass Decor group of companies is building a new plant for the production of medical glass for the pharmaceutical industry. The project capacity is 7 thousand tons per year (up to 300 million bottles and 900 million ampoules), the volume of investments is 3.2 billion rubles, the number of jobs is 200,” Emeev wrote following a meeting with the head of the Glass Decor Group of Companies Vladimir Arutyunov.

He noted that the launch of the first workshops is planned for 2025.

The company also plans to launch a new glass container plant in Ruzaevka. Currently, it is 80% ready, Emeev noted.
