Association StekloSouz of Russia. Scheduled Meeting on Increasing Recyclable Material Collection

On August 4, 2026, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR) held a scheduled meeting dedicated to increasing the collection of recyclable materials.

The meeting was chaired by Viktor Ivanovich Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia. Heads of investment companies and relevant SSR services participated.

Opening the meeting, Viktor Ivanovich reported on the results of the meeting held on July 30 of this year at the Russian Environmental Operator (REO).

Aleksey Vladimirovich Savin, Chairman of the SSR Committee on Ecology, presented a formula for increasing the collection of recyclable materials and obtaining raw materials directly from landfills. Investors were invited to join in the implementation of this initiative.

The participants decided to refine the financial model and, in collaboration with business and government representatives, prepare a detailed action plan.

Experts estimate that the implementation of this project will increase the volume of cullet for remelting to several million tons per year.

The next scheduled meeting is scheduled for August 15, 2026.
