Market analysis of sheet glass and container glass in Russia. May 2023

ACG is the leader in the production of sheet glass, producing 30.8% of all glass in the Russian Federation.

The largest increase in production in January-May 2023 compared to January-May 2022 occurred at Salavatsteklo Kaspiy LLC +0.37 million m² (+9.1%) to 4.4 million m².

The largest decrease in production in January-May 2023 compared to January-May 2022 occurred at ACG Flat Glass Clean LLC -5.7 million m² (-29.9%) to 13.4 million m².

In May 2023, the production of glass bottles increased by 8.7% compared to May 2022. The production of glass glasses decreased by 20.5%. The production volumes of tableware for medical purposes decreased by 24.8%.
