The oldest Stavropol glass manufacturing company expanded its assortment

Production of a new type of product has been established at the Stavropol glass factory LLC PP Steklotara. This year, this is the oldest glass packaging company in Russia expanded its assortment, having mastered the production of cans for stamped lids with stops for twisting off.

- Glass jars with a new type of neck at the first stage will occupy about 10% of the total production of the enterprise. In the future, their share will grow in proportion to demand. Already, there is a rather high demand on the canning market for this type of cans: the first consignments were shipped to customers from different regions of the country, said Dmitry Makarkin, deputy minister of energy, industry and communications of the Stavropol Territory who visited the plant.

The container is made of green and colorless glass. The volume of cans produced is 3 liters. The plant’s capacities allow producing up to 7 million units annually.

In the immediate plans of the enterprise is the development of new types of products. For these purposes, the plant management plans to build new production sites, install modern equipment. Now the foundation for the future burden preparation workshop has already been laid on the territory of the plant.
