Petersburg Glass increased production by 22%

In the Leningrad region, Petersburg Glass increased production by 22 percent as part of the national project “Labor Productivity”.

According to Dmitry Yalov, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activities, the company has increased its range of products and also entered new markets.

“By increasing labor productivity, the company was able to expand the range of products, enter new markets, find new customers and reduce dependence on seasonality. Thanks to new approaches to work, the company’s image has changed, this also influenced the solution to the personnel issue, now specialists are trying to get to the Luga enterprise,” said Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government and Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activities.

Petersburg Glass optimized production processes, increased plan implementation and eliminated excess losses. Thus, in six months the plant reduced defects and increased the implementation of the plan by more than 975 bottles.

The company also develops and produces glass containers with complex configurations and non-standard designs. The minimum batch size is 300 thousand units.
