First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the work of the Caspian Flat Glass Plant

On July 29, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Artyom Zdunov and the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Mikhail Babich, who arrived in the region as part of a delegation, got acquainted with the industrial potential of the region by visiting the Tyube industrial park located on the territory of the Kumtorkalinsky district of the RD.

Occupying almost 195 hectares of land, it became a platform for the implementation of projects of such residents as OJSC Caspian Sheet Glass Plant, LLC Marabi, LLC Amikon and LLC Transmetallstroy.

In addition, other companies are also planning to expand their activities here - NPO Azimut OJSC, Energostroy-MN CJSC, DSA Corporation OJSC, Caspian Sheet Glass Plant Energocenter - Energia, Matis LLC, CJSC Musharaka ”, LLC“ Dagkvarts ”.

According to the Minister of Industry and Trade of the region, Batyr Emeyev, at present the industrial park is provided with all the necessary infrastructure, including electricity, gas, roads and railways, there is a complex of water supply and sewerage treatment facilities, a reserve water pipe and sewerage system.

Funding for the construction of infrastructure facilities was carried out within the federal target program "South of Russia". Over the construction period, over 1 billion rubles have been allocated for the facility, both from the federal and republican budgets.

in the future, on the territory of the industrial park "Tyube" it is proposed to create a special economic zone of an industrial-production type with such a universal specialization as the production of sheet glass, the production of building materials, electroplating production, the construction of woodworking production, the production of floor tiles and ceramic granite, the construction of buildings and structures , hotel and service, etc.

The Caspian sheet glass plant, which was commissioned in the park in 2013, acts as an anchor resident of the special economic zone.

This is one of the largest plants for the production of float glass sheet in the south of Russia and the only modern high-tech plant in the CIS countries, the Caucasus and the Caspian region.

The enterprise produces 600 tons of high-quality sheet polished glass per day under the Caspian Crystal®️ Сlear trademark.

The first deputy managing director - technical director of the plant Dmitry Artsibashev familiarized the delegation with the activities of the plant.

JSC "KZLS" promotes its popular products - high-quality sheet polished glass - in many regions of the Russian Federation, including such remote regions as Siberia and the Far East. Foreign customers include companies from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine. In 2018, the first shipments to Albania, Greece, Lithuania and Romania began. Commercial ties are being established with the countries of Central and Western Europe.

In 2019, JSC "KZLS" produced products worth more than 3.1 billion rubles. The company employs 395 people.

Dmitry Artsibashev not only demonstrated the existing capacities of the plant, but also told the guests about the prospects for its further development. In particular, the company links its strategic plans with the establishment of the production of tinted and energy-saving glass.
