In memory of Zhuravlev Alexander Andreevich (23.01.1948 - 09.10.2020)

Dear colleagues, we regret to inform you that October 09, 2020. after a long illness at the age of 73, Zhuravlev Alexander Andreevich died.

The whole life and work of Alexander Andreevich was in close connection with the construction industry.

Graduated from the Leningrad Mining Institute named after G.V. Plekhanov, 1976, specializing in mining engineer-economist.

Alexander Andreevich's labor activity began in 1966. - Mining tenant at the Belaya Gora mine at the Belogorsk Mining and Processing Plant, Minsvetmet. Further worked

engineer of the laboratory for controlling the action of the explosion of the Krivoy Rog Mining College.

06.1967-06.1969 - Service in the Soviet Army.

Then from 1969. until 1972 Alexander Andreevich worked at mine No. 2 "Novovolynskaya" of the Ukrzapadugol plant as a mining district mine surveyor.

In parallel with 09.1970. to 09.1976 studied at the Leningrad Mining Institute named after G.V. Plekhanov.

10.1976-02.1977 - Shift supervisor of the complex of nonmetallic minerals No. 458 of the Ministry of Defense.

02.1977-09.1978 - Head of the production and technical department of the Vazhinsky Main Power Plant of Trust No. 41 of Glavzapstroy of the USSR Ministry of Construction.

09.1978-08.1980 - Chief Engineer of the Drovninsky quarry department of the Vyazemsky GOK of the Glavmospromstroimaterialov under the Moscow City Executive Committee.

08.1980-08.1981 - Deputy General Director of Vyazemsky GOK of Glavmospromstroimaterialov under the Moscow City Executive Committee.

08.1981-10.1981 - Engineer of nonmetallic industry management of Glavmosoblstroymaterialov.

10.1981-12.1988 - Director of the Mansurovsky quarry department of Glavmosoblstroimaterialov.

12.1988-02.1992 - Deputy Head of PPO "Mospromstroymaterialy" at the Moscow City Executive Committee.

02.1992-12.1992 - Deputy enterprise MPHK "Mospromstroymaterialy" at the Moscow City Executive Committee.

12.1992-02.1995 - Vice-President of Mospromstroymaterialy JSC - General Director of Instrom LTD LLP.

02.1995-01.1998 - Vice President of Mospromstroymaterialy JSC.

02.1998-09.1999 - General Director of CJSC Promnerud.

09.1999-03.2004 - First Vice President of OJSC Mospromstroymaterialy.

03.2004-2020 - President of the Nedra Association.

In 2002, Zhuravlev Alexander Andreevich was awarded the title of "Honored Builder of the Russian Federation".

In 2013, Alexander Andreevich was elected a full member of the Academy of Mining Sciences.

Alexander Andreevich lived a bright life, always had an active position. He was distinguished by high professionalism, intelligence and deep humanity. He was a sensitive, kind and loving family man, his continuation on the Earth will remain 7 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

On my own behalf and the entire Presidium of the StekloSouz Association, I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The bright memory of Zhuravlev Alexander Andreevich will remain in the hearts of everyone who happened to communicate and work with this wonderful person.
