Tomsk Electric Lamp Plant will make a technological breakthrough in the field of lighting in Russia by starting the production of LED filament and thereby gain the ability to control the process of creating a bulb from beginning to end!

The project was implemented by Tomsk Electric Lamp Plant (trademarks - LEADlight and TOMICH LAMP) together with Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radio Electronics (TUSUR) with financial support from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in order to implement the federal target program “Research and Development in Priority Directions for the Development of the Russian Scientific and Technological Complex on 2014-2020 ”and consists of two stages.

The first stage of the project (implemented - the opening of the site took place in November 2019) - the creation of a unique robotic line for the production of LED filament lamps, which was completed in 2019.

The second stage is the creation of a site for the production of LED filaments themselves with a complete technological cycle from the deposition of crystals on a substrate to their coating with a phosphor. Such production is absolutely unique for Russia. Therefore, LED threads will be used both for the production of TOMICH BULB and for sale to other enterprises, which will provide the country's market with a high-quality domestic product that distinguishes it from its Chinese counterparts with high technical characteristics.

LED filaments and bulbs based on them are a modern, absolutely environmentally friendly product that is not only harmless to health (unlike low-quality analogues), but also has a beneficial effect on the psycho-emotional state of a person, increases working capacity and improves mood. Thanks to our own full-cycle production, there were unlimited prospects for expanding the product range of LEADlight brand products.

The second stage was completed in February 2020. In honor of its completion, the grand opening of the full-cycle section for the production of LED filaments will take place!
