The Ministry of Industry and Trade will pay 20 billion rubles to merchants of the Leningrad region for increasing exports

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will conclude agreements with enterprises of the Leningrad Region on the implementation of corporate programs to increase competitiveness by 20 billion rubles.

According to the press service of the Government of the Leningrad region on October 31, export-oriented producers of 47 regions will receive state support in the form of soft loans. Corporate Competitiveness Enhancement Programs (KPAC) have been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. 20 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget as part of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. A program participant is required to annually increase export earnings.

Note that the funds are provided directly to commercial banks. The programs will allow manufacturers to reduce the interest rate of commercial banks on export loans from 3.0 to 4.5% of the base rate. State support will be used to compensate for the difference in interest rates.

Among the participants are chemical industry enterprises: Polyplast North-West LLC (where the explosion occurred in January and the three accused escaped with fines), Interfom LLC, Pikalevskaya Soda JSC, timber industry enterprises - Lesplitinvest LLC, LLC ARTEKS, Syassky Pulp and Paper Mill OJSC (recall that Rosprirodnadzor requires 3.8 million rubles from the pulp and paper mill for sulfur on the ground), metallurgy - the Plant of High-Rise Structures LLC, power engineering - the Titan TECHNOLOGY PIPELINE LLC, automotive industry - LLC "FORESIA INTERIOR LUGA". Also included in the program are manufacturers of glass containers LLC Rusjam Steklotara Holding, manufacturers of sanitary ware LLC Roka Rus, a company AO Sosnovoborelectromonazh, manufacturers of LED lamps LLC NPO Nord invest.

For reference, let’s say that the goal of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” is to achieve the country's export of non-energy non-energy goods in the amount of $ 250 billion by 2024.
