Import and export of flat glass to Russia in September 2020

The import of sheet glass to Russia, according to the operational data of the customs service, in September 2020 amounted to 2,072 thousand square meters. m, which is 8.1% less than in August 2020 and 11.4% more than in September 2019. Since the beginning of 2020, imports have increased by 14.2% compared to the same period in 2019.

In September 2020, the export of flat glass amounted to 5,997 thousand sq. m, which is 0.3% less than in August 2020. Compared to September last year, exports in September 2020 decreased by 5.1%. During the period from the beginning of the year, exports increased by 2.8% compared to the same period last year. The largest exporters of flat glass are the Central Federal District and the Volga Federal District.
