The head of the Dagestan cabinet of ministers got acquainted with the work of “Dagestan Glass Сontainer”.

On Saturday, October 19, the head of the Dagestan cabinet of ministers Artyom Zdunov visited the Dagestan Glass Container factory in Dagestan Lights.

This is one of the largest and oldest enterprises of the Caspian Composite group of companies, which is developing dynamically. The volume of production at the plant increased from 640 million rubles. in 2018 to 782 million rubles. for 9 months of the current year, as a result, tax deductions have also increased.

The company's products are in demand both in Russia and abroad: they are exported to Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia.

In addition, the three-liter cylinders produced here are recognized as the best in Russia in quality.

In the future, the company’s management plans to expand production, increasing its capacity by launching the second stage of the glass packaging line.

If the container shop project is implemented, the output will increase to 300 tons of glass melt per day. And in this regard, the construction of a mining and processing plant is an acute issue.

“At the moment, the plant uses imported raw materials, while the republic has a large reserve of its quartz sand. The internal reserve will allow to reduce the cost of production, increase the profits of the enterprise and increase its competitiveness. Moreover, this will give us 192 additional jobs, ”explained Patakhutdin Magomedov, CEO.

As part of the modernization and expansion of existing production, the Dagestan Glass Сontainer plant offered its capabilities for the implementation of the GOK construction project.

The Prime Minister supported the initiative, stressing that with the successful implementation of the plan, the republic will be able to become the leader of the Russian market in this direction. At the same time, he gave instructions to the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic to work out forms of support, using the capabilities of the Monotown Development Fund and the Dagestan Industry Development Fund.
