Chelyabinsk Modern Glass plant received a bank guarantee

Sberbank issued a bank guarantee in favor of the Industrial Development Fund as part of the modernization of glass production at Modern Glass.

To attract borrowed financing from the Industrial Development Fund, the Chelyabinsk glass processor received guarantee support from Sberbank

in the amount of 572 million rubles for a period of five years.

According to the press service of Sberbank, participation in state support programs and concessional lending to enterprises is one of the priorities of Sberbank in the region.

The issuance of a bank guarantee in the amount of 572 million rubles to secure a loan provided by the Modern Glass Industry Development Fund will contribute to the development of industry and the investment climate in the South Urals.

Borrowed funds are intended to modernize production and improve the technologies used. Another goal of lending is to increase the output of double-glazed windows with high energy efficiency, as well as large-sized products in demand in modern construction. Due to the renewal of production, the cost of production will decrease.

“Our company is constantly working on improving production technologies. In recent years, we pay great attention to business processes, at the same time launched a project to update and improve the technologies used with the possibility of expanding production. Together with the production, the number of employees of the enterprise is growing. In 2015, the company employed more than 440 people, and today we already have more than 570 employees, ”says Dmitry Dyshakov, executive director of Modern Glass in Chelyabinsk.

“The amount of the guarantee provided is significant and the loan objectives are large-scale. I am sure that for Modern Glass, which is known far beyond the borders of our region, a new loan will be an effective investment in the future of the plant and the entire Chelyabinsk region, ”said Denis Chugunov, manager of the regional branch of Sberbank.
